First time playing padel?

Have you never held a padel racket? No worries, we will explain everything!

Padel players on court

What is padel?

Imagine a clever mix of tennis and squash, or even life-sized table tennis played on a court surrounded by glass walls - that is padel!

Padel is played on a synthetic grass court (ideal for the knees), surrounded by glass walls. Although it is quite similar to tennis (the scoring is the same: 15, 30, 40, ...), padel is much more accessible technically and physically.

Why is it easy to learn?

Simplified serve

In padel, the serve is hit underhand. Much simpler than in tennis!

Smaller court

The area to cover is nearly half a tennis court - and on top of that, there are two of you to cover it!

Using the glass walls

In padel, using the glass walls is part of the game: it is allowed and even encouraged! If the ball comes at you quickly, let it bounce off the glass and then hit it calmly.

Satisfying rallies

In padel, rallies can last a long time and quickly become very satisfying. You improve fast!

After 1 hour of play, I was already able to use the glass walls. It feels so good to improve quickly!

How long should you play?

You decide! Adjust the slider however you like - 30, 60, 90 minutes, or even 120 minutes. You are the boss of the court!

💡 Tip

For a first singles session, 60 minutes is a good discovery format. In doubles, a match usually lasts 90 minutes.

Padel, a real sport!

The big surprise: after realizing that padel is very accessible and fun, you also discover that it is a real sport, recognized and played at the highest level.

Watching international champions "play" padel quickly makes you understand that with practice and a few coaching sessions, you can climb the rankings step by step - and discover the full richness of this sport.

By playing regularly, you will build real chemistry with your partners, improve your reflexes, your spatial awareness, and even your cardio.

⚠️ WARNING: playing padel is highly addictive...

You will have to fight not to get hooked because once you have tried it, the temptation to come back and play is very strong!

We would also like to warn the family and friends of every new player: this enthusiasm is contagious. You have been warned.
